We got off the train into the classic English fog, thick as mushy pea soup but luckily our driver is a pilot and provided me with quite an exhilarating ride back to the house, quite fun and yee-haw! Paul and Nigel again, thank you for getting me hauled all over the country safely and enjoyably.

This trip, my return to the UK for the TruLondon Unconference was filled with an intense schedule but learning with age I’d build in an extra “day” of nothing scheduled time for “getting my witts about me” and seeing a few of the wonderful sights in London and other parts of the country.

During my daily radio show “Daily DriveThru HR” this week I’d landed on relevant topic and issue that ended up taking a big part of the show with the assistance from a caller and good friend of the show “Jess at http://blogging4jobs.com”.

The vast majority of job seekers admit to emotions ranging from mild uneasiness to downright panic leading up to their interviews. The good news is there have been no reported cases of job seekers who died of nervousness during a job interview.

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said he was not making a prediction and had not seen official data in advance, but rather had read a news article that pointed to the possibility of a revision.

“There will be a jobs revision I’m told tomorrow that’s likely to show additional job loss at the first part of the recession that started in December 2007, making the whole of job loss that we’ve dealt with even deeper,” Gibbs said.

Ken Lewis, former Bank of America chief executive, and Joe Price, the bank’s former chief financial officer, are named in the charges by Andrew Cuomo, the attorney-general of New York.

Administrative Law Judge Linda Chapman ruled the Charlotte-based bank was biased against African-American applicants for entry-level jobs in 1993 and from 2002-05. The findings were the result of an investigation by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs.
